Happy Chinese New Year everyone.
We don’t celebrate Chinese New Year because we are not Chinese. But I am fascinated by the Chinese people who celebrates it and welcomes Chinese New Year with great expectation and extravagant fireworks.
There are people who prepares food which are lucky for the coming year, they also prepare themselves by wearing dresses which brings good fortune for the coming year.
I got interested in their culture when I was in Bacolod. They have a festival for that but here in CDO, medyo walang focus on Chinese New Year. Meron siguro pero mga Chinese lang talaga unlike sa Bacolod everyone can see the glimpse of their culture. 🙂
