One of Quebec’s most loved restaurants is Le Cheval de Jade. Located on Saint-Jovite steet in Mont Tremblant, this charming, 1926 ancestral cottage restaurant is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or special occasion. Specializing in French cuisine, this restaurant offers candlelit dinners consisting of 300 year old registered recipes. Big things come in small packages and that could not be more true for the Toroli restaurant. A small building off of St. Denis in Montreal, Toroli pleases in a huge way making it one of Quebec’s popular restaurants. Offering a clean, elegant setting, Toroli specialized in delicious Japanese and Asian fare. Diners can enjoy beautifully presented dishes such as white tuna in yuzu sauce or duck in caramelized apples completed by a delightful black seed ice cream dessert.

Le Grain de Sel

Situated on Saint Catherine street in Montreal is the highly recommended Le Grain de Sel restaurant specializing in French cuisine. A cozy, comfortable ambiance, attentive service and superb food where every plate is unique and fresh is what keeps diners coming back again and again. Begin with freshly made bread and an appetizer of escargots in garlic cream followed by smoked organic pork shoulder and topped off with a lemon mousse dessert.

Waig Crystal Spring Resort

Our two months old baby Gerayah is on the GO. Yeah, she goes wherever I go. And for today, we are in WAIG Crystal Spring Resort in Maramag Bukidnon.
WAIG is owned by our family friend and we love to visit the place because they have these BIG POOLS with slides. The kids love to play in the water, so before we officially ends our SUMMER VACATION, we splashed into WAIG’s big pools.

Got our picture taken and check it out here:

This is a post-birthday celebration of Ama Lolit too.

Cheap Holidays for the Whole Family

I have been traveling a lot for the past three years within Asian Countries. I have visited Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia, I also visited Bangkok and Chonburi in Thailand, I went to Hong Kong, Macau and Shenzen China, and I wanted more. I didn’t realize that traveling can be this addictive.

I was alone when I had my Asian tour, for a change, I am thinking of visiting European countries with my family. I have been thinking about it for a long time already that is why I am saving up for a family vacation that would bring us more closer together. I have been checking out some sites and travel agencies web sites who could offer the best package for a cheap holiday vacation with the whole family. I want to spend my hard earned money to a place that even my children would appreciate visiting. It is stressful and tiresome to book your vacation with different companies, so I am looking for an agency who could offer me a cheap holiday which already includes the airfare, hotel accommodation, car transfers and insurance already.

Another thing is, like any other travelers I am scared of who to trust my money with, so I really appreciate web sites of travel agencies who can prove to me that they are worth my trust and that I am confident to book my next holiday on them.

Pink Fridays : Pink Over-all

Pink Fridays once again, and here is my share:

A pink over-all from my best friend Em to my daughter Gerayah. This is not  brand new over-all because my best friend’s daughter has previously used it but this little dress here is still in better condition. Aside from that, it looks cute on my pretty little princess. I told you, I have lots of pink stuffs to share. Be back next week:)

Turkey Vacation

While reading RD, January 2012 edition, I have realized that Turkey is one great place to travel to. It is a place where the East meets the West. Some people even calls Istanbul as “Europe’s coolest city”.

The author has written travel tips for tourists and guests who would love to visit Turkey or Istanbul. He said that you should not miss Topkapi Palace because they have antiquities and Islamic relics. For eating or dining out, a guest should visit Haci Abdullah for Turkish classics like lamb with eggplant. If you want to enjoy the nightlife, you should check out Ortakoy district for clubs. Of course, a tourist would love to buy gifts for their loved-ones on the way home, so they would need to visit a bazaar and Dhoku is one place to go too.

After reading the article in the Reader’s Digest, I am thinking of visiting Turkey, and of course, I am checking out cheap turkey holidays because I couldn’t afford an expensive one especially if I spend the holidays with my family. Airline tickets, hotels, tours and dining are the things I should prepare my money for. That is why I am glad that there are websites who offers accommodation inclusive of food, and also city tours, plus the airfare for low prices.
