Trumpet Mouthpiece

I’m thinking of buying a good yamaha standard trumpet mouthpiece at guitar center for my brother. He’s going to be ecstatic, because it will be added in his collection. I’ve been thinking of giving one, kind of donating, for the towns band too. With a good trumpet mouthpiece, the music they will make will sound good and pleasing for the audience to listen.

Background Music for Fashion

Aside from a wonderful stage, fashion shows should have an upbeat background music for it to be more fun to do a cat walk. Sometimes, a live band is also performing on fashion shows which the audience enjoys listening to. Having a peavey delta blues amp is definitely an advantage for the band to make the music more clear and lively.

Travel with your Guitar

Are you a music-lover? A guitar player? Are you a traveler? In case you are both, do you travel with your instrument?

This question just came up on my mind recently, and I find it quite hard to travel with your musical instrument especially if it is big like a guitar or heavy like drums. I appreciate people who are music-lovers and always bring with them their instruments even though they have to endure the pain of carrying it anywhere they go. And sometimes when they lose something, I am glad they can easily find it online like a push for ableton at guitar center . I also learned that you can bring your musical instruments on board a plane for an extra charge and for its safety.

Say “Happy Father’s Day” with a GIFT

Our mother had their blast last May 12 I believe, and so we should start saving up for Father’s Day to celebrate it with our Dads! Have you been thinking what to buy for your dads already? If you haven’t think of anything yet, just check this gift ideas I have written here and you might just find the right gift for your father!

A gadget maybe perfect for your dad if he is into technology. Most men these days are techy so they can  appreciate the gift if its more technology related. A good tablet can be perfect or perhaps a new smart phone to fix his busy schedule.

A pbone is perfect for musically inclined dads. He will love it with all his heart and ye, he will definitely not forget the daughter or son that gave it to him.

A car accessory can be the right gift for your dad if he has a car which needs a new accessory. And if you cannot afford tire rims, you can try buying him a new car seat which I think is way cheaper than the tire rims.

Music Festivals

This year’s unmissable music festivals

Tickets for Glastonbury may have disappeared in a matter of moments, but if you were looking forward to rocking out in a field this summer, don’t despair: Britain is famous for its music festivals, and there are plenty of great options out there.

Whether you’re into indie, drum and bass, heavy metal or pop, today there seem to be hundreds of festivals to choose from depending on your location and budget. These four very different festivals promise to be unmissable in 2013:

Bestival

The Isle of Wight’s foremost music festival is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year. It’s all about fancy dress here, with the festival picking up the 2005 Guinness World Record for the largest number of people wearing fancy dress at one event. There are some pretty great acts too – with Snoop Dogg, MIA and Elton John headlining, it’s definitely worth the £180 price tag.

Rock Ness

Set amongst the breathtaking scenery of the Scottish Highlands, Rock Ness is known as “the most beautiful music festival in the world”. With an eclectic collection of artists, including Plan B and Madness, there’s something for everyone; from ravers to indie shoegazers. The festival also boasts its own comedy stage, so you can relax with a drink while Jim Jefferies and Dylan Moran get the audience giggling.

Secret Garden Party

The secret’s slowly getting out about this fabulous independent festival set in the grounds of a Cambridgeshire mansion. Launched as an alternative to the more “mainstream” festivals, the Secret Garden Party has gone from strength to strength. The full line-up is yet been announced, although acts including Soulwax and David Icke have been confirmed. This is the perfect festival if you want to see and be seen, so browse Very.co.uk’s great range of maxi dresses, get yourself a pair of designer wellies, and enjoy.

Wakestock

As well as music and revelry, Wakestock adds another element into the mix: a world class wakeboarding competition. This fast growing water sport combines surfing, snowboarding and water skiing techniques. Although the festival is just entering its sixth year, it attracts big names from the music industry. The line-up for 2013 has not yet been announced, but last year Calvin Harris and Ed Sheeran headlined the West Stage, while pop punk band All American Rejects took over the East Stage
