The Margarette – Maramag Hotel

There is a new business hotel in Maramag Bukidnon — The Margarette, and because a friend owns it, I checked the place out and I am pleased with what I have seen.

This is the lobby, sorry I must have missed out some other views of the lobby but the lobby is very inviting so I made a quick pose.

It is not a five-star hotel but I know staying in The Margarette will be comfortable for you and your business partners or family.

Snack Time : KRRAGS

CHOW TIME at KRRAGS! I don’t know why this place was called KRRAGS but I got a feeling that it is an acronym for all the names of the owners or the first letters of the first name of their children.

I am loving their BURGERS. They have chicken burger, pork burger and beef burger and I love all of them! They also serve leche flan, batchoy and shakes!

Me and my friends spend a lot of time talking and eating in KRRAGS.

Their food are not that expensive and even students can afford it! If ever you are in Maramag Bukidnon, visit KRRAGS and try out their Burgers for only 35php.

The Overview

When our new car arrived, my father couldn’t help it, he wanted to test drive it. So we went to The Overview located in Quezon Bukidnon. We traveled for almost 2 hours I think, from our place (Pangantucan Bukidnon) before we reached the place.

The Overview is named “Overview” for the reason that it is higher than any other places located near it. You can view a lot of things when you are at the top. Here is a picture of me and my daughter:

The view is great here. SEE????

I mean, hey, you could almost see everything up here.

Monastery of Transfiguration

If there is one thing that is Holy about Bukidnon that is the Monastery of Transfiguration in Malaybalay Bukidnon. The place is so solemn that most of the schools prefer to have their students’ recollections in that place. Guests and visitors can have breakfast with the monks at the Monastery every first sunday of the month, I guess, or I should ask them again about it because I am not so sure if it is first or second Sunday of the month.
Most of the people I know who lives in Bukidnon had their weddings at the Monastery of Transfiguration. I have attended 5 weddings in the church I believe and the last one was just last month.

I even thought of having my wedding in the said place too. Aside from the fact that it is a good venue to make my promise of love to the one God has chosen for me, it has also a beautiful scenery.

If ever you visit Bukidnon or perhaps you took the road from Cagayan de Oro to Davao City, take a left turn at San Jose, Malaybalay Bukidnon and visit the Monastery of Transfiguration. Get to know God at the most silent place you could ever visit.

Pinutos sa Kanto, Re-Opening

Yesterday, Pinutos sa Kanto had its re-opening. Pinutos sa Kanto is a restaurant located in San Miguel, Manolo Fortich Bukidnon that you don’t want to MISS when you are on your way to Cagayan de Oro or to Davao City. They offer a lot of great food which includes their specialties: Chicken Pinutos, Pork Pinutos and Roast Beef. Aside from their food, the place has a good ambiance and fresh icy cool air.

Beside Pinutos sa Kanto is the Del Monte Club House and Golf Course and I wonder if they have Golf Trophies displayed in there. And because I am from Bukidnon, I am inviting you all to try out Pinutos sa Kanto and try to visit Del Monte Club House if you will pass by in the area.
