Valentines is on its way, almost knocking through my door. Valentines is all over the television, it’s on the news, every advertisement made for different products focus on love, cupid, and couples. It is not hard to look for the perfect place to spend Valentines nor hard to think of the best gift for your other half because ideas are sold on the television (be it on the news or advertisements) and it’s also printed in the newspapers.
There are hotels who offer romantic dinner date (buffet or not) on Valentine’s Day, some have singers and music bands to serenade the couple while eating. Some places have offered different activities to be shared and done by the couples, there is dual zip line for the adventurous, and there are air balloons where couples could spend one hour together up in the sky. There are spas who offer 2 massages for the price of one and I expect they had a spray on tan.
Everything has a price though, so it really depends on your budget. You can definitely spend your money on something memorable for you and your loved-one this Valentine’s Day.
When I read today’s topic for GT, the song “and I will do anything for love” keeps running in my mind. Although I am not a good singer, I can surely sing that song but I know it is out of tune.
Anyway, enough about the song, let me talk about the topic. Like Kaye, I cannot KILL for Love, but surely I will Fight for Love. Among other things, I will really try hard to learn how to cook for Love because I know that a good mother a good wife should cook for her family. I am willing to wait for Love, yes, as you can see, we have a very complicated relationship and even though both of our families accepts one another. So I am willing to wait for that.
Girl’s Talk has a new badge and I LURVE IT! What more can I say? KUDOS mommy Kaye 🙂
Valentines has just ended yesterday and all I can say is that I am happy and satisfied with my Valentine’s Day. When I was in high school, I prepare tons of Valentines Card for my school friends, my relatives, and people who are close to my heart. Some of the cards were hand crafted by me and some were bought, some of it was delivered by me and some were mailed to my recipients. And now that we are in the techy generations, I don’t send cards thru post office anymore but through internet. But I am still making them handmade and then I use document scanning software to send those beautiful cards to my love ones from different parts of the World.
