Chilling at Pangantucan’s Private Pool

My cousin has decided to build a swimming pool here in our town just this year and yes it is almost finished. We went there last week of November to celebrate our Aunt’s birthday. This is not our first time to visit the place and I have made a few blog post about it in my other blog.

I let my daughter wear a two-piece suit, asked her to pose for me while lying in the beach bench. Isn’t she adorable? That two piece suit underneath the backless pink top is a pre-loved swimsuit from my cousin’s little sister.

This is the swimming pool:

The view looks great at this side:)

Shopping for Fire Extinguishers

Every January, business owners in here and I guess in most places in the Philippines will be very busy renewing their business permits. One of the requirements is the signature of the Municipal Fire Marshall.

Of course the Fire Marshall will not just sign your papers, they will check your building and all the necessary requirements including the right pieces of fire extinguishers and fire exits that are needed. Some big building are required to put a fire hose. And because I own a little business, I needed to have fire extinguishers and I have been shopping in some stores in the city. It is quite hard to compare prices because we only have one store in the City. My uncle is looking for fire hoses for his 5 story building and I told him that he can check out that fire hose from RawhideFirehose.comĀ  before buying from other stores.

Moreover, if you have Fire Extinguishers, you need to shake it once in awhile because if you will not shake it there is a tendency that the chemical inside it will not be as effective as it is when it was bought.

Pangantucan Bukidnon Church

Pangantucan Bukidnon has one of the old churches in Bukidnon. That is why you should never forget to drop by at the Church if ever you visit Pangantucan. Our Parish Priest has helped renovate our Church, the townspeople have donated money for the expenses the Church incurred.

A lot has changed for our Church, the tiles were changed, the altar table, and the decorated bamboo trees at the altar has been replaced. The San Isidro Labrador Church in Pangantucan is big but during our town Fiesta and other Church events our chairs are not enough for the mass-goers. So our Parish Priest has stackable church chairs ready for this kind of Church events.

Another thing, our Church has a round shape, its not the same with other Churches in Bukidnon.

Pink Fridays: Pink Band Uniform

Fridays will not be complete without a Pink Friday Post! So I am cooking up one right now. I have posted a LOT of pink stuffs for my daughter for the past months, but for now, I would love to share the PNHS School Band uniform. It is Sexy, it is Fab, and it is PINK.

I used to be a band member when I was in grade school and high school, that is why watching the band parade makes me reminisce my colorful past.
Like them, I used to bring the school seal, parade around the town under the scorching heat of the sun, and keeping those smiles in my face.

Pink Fridays : Pink School Seals

Last July 1, 2012, we celebrated our 50th Araw ng Pangantucan (Charter Day) or the day our town became a municipality. And of course, the event will not be complete without the parade. The parade which consists of the town’s public officials, school bands and students from our schools.

I wanna share with you a photo that I took during the parade. I used to be a part of the school band, from grade school to high school, and I used to be the one who brings the school seal. But during my band days, I was the only one who brings the school seal, but now it is different. There are 4 girls who brings them, and they bring one letter with them. Our school’s name is Pangantucan Central Elementary School (that is why it is called PCES).

The school seal looks neat and PINK.
