Nail-a-holics Experience

I always had my manicure and pedicure at the comforts of our home. My mom will just text her “Suki Manicurista” to visit our home and do a home service to us. It is much cheaper contrary to what other people might be thinking because we live in the province.

Today I have experienced for the first time a manicure-pedicure services at a posh spa in Centrio Ayala Mall at Cagayan de Oro City because the boyfie insisted. He told me that I should experience it even for once in my life, without thinking how much will I be spending in such Spa.

This is Rubi and she did a good job in attending to my needs. Aside from cleaning my nails and putting my preferred nail polish, she gently massage my arms and legs too.

The downside of having to be serviced at a posh spa is that they have so many customers, I went there at around 1 pm and the receptionist told me that they will just call me after 45 minutes. They have different promos but the receptionist didn’t offer it to me and I don’t know why. She just asked me what I need and I told her that I want to have my nails done. After an hour or so, Rubi finished in cleaning and putting on some nails polish on my hand and feet and it sure looks great.

I paid 500php for my nails (250php for my hands and 250php for my feet). Their services is for 200ph for fingernails and 200php for your toenails but I have chosen the branded nail polish so I have to pay the extra 50php for hands and another 50php for my feet. I gave a tip to Rubi too for being so nice to me.

My Experience at Spa Oriental Beauty Parlor

It is not everyday that I pamper myself, so when I visited my friend at his new business venture, I never hesitated to try out their Nail Art. I really love nail arts because they look so cool, but I don’t know how to apply it on my own nails. I am glad that Spa Oriental in Maramag Bukidnon offers Nail Art services for a very affordable price. They have so many designs available and yes the nail artist that we fondly called “Nene” knows how to apply it.

My friend took a photo of me while I was being pampered, and see, I am very happy, sitting in a very relaxing couch.
Though it took almost 1 hour to finish, it was worth the wait. I chose to have my nails decorated with cherries. Yes, I almost want to eat my nails because I love cherries.

Nail Art is one of Spa Oriental’s great services. They also offer a lot more, so if you are living in Bukidnon and want to try it out, go and check Spa Oriental. It is so easy to find the place, just tell the driver to take you to Villa Verde Building. Spa Oriental occupies the whole of 2nd floor.

Nail Art

Nail art is the next big thing in manicures and pedicures, after cracked nails. I haven’t tried cracked nail polish because I see a lot of ladies had them in my place. But I am trying out nail art because it is different, unique plus you will not have the same design or art with other people. My best friend, Em-Em , is the one who introduced me to it. She keeps on uploading photos of her nail art in her FB account and it keeps showing on my news feed. Then when we went to Davao City for a visit, she applied nail art on my mom’s fingernails. It looked nice so I asked for her nail polished (LOL).

When we got home, I called our on-call Manicurista (the one who applies manicure and pedicure) and taught her how to do it because I don’t know how to apply nail polish.

See? Not bad for a first timer, eh?
