Its summer time of 2013 already and everybody needs a dose of the beach life. We went to Bohol for our Lola Azon’s wake and burial and because we don’t have a house to stay in, some of our relatives checks into the nearest beach resorts in Calape.

We went there for a look and of course we can’t help ourselves from not dipping into the pristine white beach infront of us.

The kids sure love the beach because we don’t have beaches in Bukidnon. They play in the sand and water and they even tried to row the boat without anybody’s help.

New Year, New Travel Plans

Last year I was not able to visit other countries other than my own but it was still a travel year for me. I went to Manila, Tagaytay, Cebu, Bohol, Davao, and Cagayan de Oro with my boyfriend. We visited some tourist spots and we enjoyed our time staying in some hotels.

One thing I could not forget was our Enchanted Kingdom and Ocean Park adventure. It was my first time to visit such great places in the Philippines last year and it was a blast. I realized that I don’t need to go abroad just to experience such tourist spots, though they don’t give out plastic business card as remembrance.

Another unforgettable experience last year was our Cebu-Bohol vacation with the kids. Aside from enjoying our time in the hotel, we also did enjoy our land trips and visits to different local and tourist spots in the province.

For this year, as early as now, I am planning our travels for this year to be able to enjoy our time to the fullest.

GT: Where’d My Money Go

I think I have spent so much on gifts, I believe. Gifts for my son, my brothers, my loved-ones ;) . And I don’t care if I have to spend all my online earnings to them. I have also spend a great deal of money to our vacations, we have traveled a lot for this year although it is just within our country, the Philippines, we enjoyed it so much and we treasured every moment of it.

Aside from that I have bought a new camera, a Canon 450D from my earnings too. Moreover I have spent a hefty sum on a new business venture too. I will share about it when it is finished already.

Monastery of Transfiguration

If there is one thing that is Holy about Bukidnon that is the Monastery of Transfiguration in Malaybalay Bukidnon. The place is so solemn that most of the schools prefer to have their students’ recollections in that place. Guests and visitors can have breakfast with the monks at the Monastery every first sunday of the month, I guess, or I should ask them again about it because I am not so sure if it is first or second Sunday of the month.
Most of the people I know who lives in Bukidnon had their weddings at the Monastery of Transfiguration. I have attended 5 weddings in the church I believe and the last one was just last month.

I even thought of having my wedding in the said place too. Aside from the fact that it is a good venue to make my promise of love to the one God has chosen for me, it has also a beautiful scenery.

If ever you visit Bukidnon or perhaps you took the road from Cagayan de Oro to Davao City, take a left turn at San Jose, Malaybalay Bukidnon and visit the Monastery of Transfiguration. Get to know God at the most silent place you could ever visit.

Villanueva Coca-Cola Plant

It’s not everyday that I get an invite to a Coca-Cola Mega Plant that is why I just couldn’t let the chance pass by. When our DTLs invited us for a meeting at the Villanueva Coca-Cola Plant last October, without hesitation we attended the meeting which includes free lunch plus a plant tour.

We are not allowed to take pictures inside the bottling area so we have to be contented posing and taking our pictures outside the bottling area. As of today, we had only one line running to make those tasty softdrinks to quench your thirst because the Mega Plant is still not finished yet.
