Mt Mayon in Albay

I am from Mindanao, I have lived all my life in Mindanao. When I was young I dreamed of visiting different tourist spots in my own country because I used to see these beautiful places in my textbooks only. I thought I couldn’t visit such beautiful creations in my entire life and I am happy that I have set foot and took photos with these lovely God’s gifts to us.

Mt Mayon is an active volcano, it can be devastating, and sometimes it is scary, a lot of people have lost their lives when it erupted years ago but still I couldn’t help myself from saying “WOW” to this volcano with a symmetric conical shape.

The entrance fee was 10 or 20php per person. I really couldn’t remember because the only thing I can remember up until now is that when we arrived at the area, the clouds have suddenly make way and show us the beautiful Mt Mayon in all its glory. I can stay all day in the area just watching the beauty that Albay has to offer.

My husband told me a story that Mt Mayon will only show herself when you are beautiful and will be covered with clouds if you aren’t. He was scared at first because he assured me that I am beautiful so he was sure that Mt Mayon will show herself to us but on our way, we can see from afar that the volcano was covered with clouds. He was so happy when we arrived that Mt Mayon showed herself and proved to me that I am, indeed, beautiful.

Bangui Windmills

Bangui Wind Farm is located in Bangui, Ilocos Norte, Philippines. I used to read about the Bangui Windmills in books when I was younger, because it is considered as one of the tourist attraction in the Municipality of Bangui. It is the first wind farm in the Philippines. When I set foot at the place, I was amazed by the wind mill’s size. It was BIG, no, it was HUGE and I was like an ant under it. image

I was mesmerized by its beauty. I was so happy that I have visited the place together with my husband and I have finally tick off this place in my bucket list. We brought our own car from Mindanao, so it was easy for us to visit the different tourist’s spots in Ilocos. You don’t have to pay for an entrance fee and there are souvenir shop in the area where you can buy different items such as printed t-shirts, ref magnets and key chains.

3 Reasons to Visit Japan

I have been longing to visit Japan for a very long time already. I have 3 reasons why I want to visit the country and I know a lot of people have more than 3 reasons to visit Japan. My top 3 reasons why I would love to visit Japan are 1. Historic Landmarks – I don’t know much as what are the names of the places I should be visiting but I know that Japan was one of the old countries who have rich history and that they have these landmarks that can still be visited up to today, 2. Japanese Culture – Japan has one of the richest cultures in the world, I love watching Japanese movies because of their stories which are very unique and they have portrayed their culture in it like no other, I want to experience it first-hand and 3. Tourist Destinations Japan – there are so many tourist spots that are easily visited in Japan aside from the fact they have these Cherry blossoms everywhere which makes me want to stay below it for about an hour or two, they also have the famous Himeji Castle and the Great Buddha of Kamakura which travelers like me would love to see for my own eyes and of course I will not forget Mount Fuji, the famous symbol of Japan!

I am glad that Japan has now allowed Filipinos to apply for a multiple-entry tourist visas because it would be easier for me and my friends to visit the country with less hassle!
