Valentines is on its way, almost knocking through my door. Valentines is all over the television, it’s on the news, every advertisement made for different products focus on love, cupid, and couples. It is not hard to look for the perfect place to spend Valentines nor hard to think of the best gift for your other half because ideas are sold on the television (be it on the news or advertisements) and it’s also printed in the newspapers.
There are hotels who offer romantic dinner date (buffet or not) on Valentine’s Day, some have singers and music bands to serenade the couple while eating. Some places have offered different activities to be shared and done by the couples, there is dual zip line for the adventurous, and there are air balloons where couples could spend one hour together up in the sky. There are spas who offer 2 massages for the price of one and I expect they had a spray on tan.
Everything has a price though, so it really depends on your budget. You can definitely spend your money on something memorable for you and your loved-one this Valentine’s Day.
I know, I am late for GT. I am sorry. I was busy but then again I just cannot let this week pass without making my entry for Girl’s Talk.
The most cheesy thing I did for love or for a love one or for a boy was when I send roses and chocolates to him with love letters. Well, I did that for FUN. We had this lad in our class which never had a girlfriend in his high school days. He is so “torpe” but he keeps on teasing me in front of our professors. So when Valentine’s Day came, me and my girlfriends had planned of making fun of him by giving him flowers (a bouquet of roses, mind you) and chocolates with matching “I LOVE YOU” on the card. We did that on purpose and we even gave him the flowers when our professor is already inside the classroom. The whole classroom cannot get over it and we end up teasing him until the semester has ended.
Today is Valentines Day.
So I am greeting all my followers and dear readers a “Happy Valentines Day”
My dear boyfriend surprised me with a teddy bear and a bouquet of roses. Yes, I am surprised because as I have said in my other blog, my boyfriend is not that romantic and he rarely show his feelings.
Thanks for a memorable Valentines my love
