I have bought my 5 years old son a kick scooter before at around 1000php and it only lasted for 2 months then it broke down. So when he asked me to buy a new one, I made sure that it will be durable and will last for a longer period of time.
I am glad that when I was checking out Robinson’s mall for kick scooters, the sales lady offered me this brand:
She told me that their selling price is around 3000php but it is currently on sale and I only have to pay 2000php for it. So I bought it. This kick scooter has a patented rear fender brake and folding mechanism, urethane wheels with ABEC-5 high speed bearings, and it is easy to fold and carry.
Safety Reminders: (I copied from Razor’s manual booklet which I believe can help every parent and child who owns a kick scooter)
- Loose Parts – check and secure all fasteners before every ride. Make sure the collar clamp, quick release lever and handlebar spring buttons are locked properly in place before riding.
- Replacement Parts – Replace worn or broken parts immediately.
- Safety Gear – Always wear proper protective equipment such as an approved safety helmet, elbow pads and knee pads. Always wear shoes, never ride barefooted or in sandals, and keep shoelaces tied and out of the way of the wheels.
- Be Careful – You will see people on TV and maybe even people you know doing tricks and stunts. These are people who have been practicing on scooters for a very long time. Don’t try something until you are ready. Avoid steep inclines and don’t ride too fast – you can lose control and fall.

cool! that great when you go for a walk while your son is on his scooter, this will keep him occupied too. just be careful lil boy 🙂 you have to look both-ways when you cross the street
that is a great buy Momi 🙂 your son sure is very thankful to Mommy for buying him a new scooter 🙂 My kids love to use the scooter especially the big brother. The little girl has the brother’s old scooter.
