Three Personalized Gift Ideas for Moms of Multiples

When a family member or loved one is pregnant with multiples, the logistics of the situation can quickly become overwhelming. The mother may receive multiples of many items, with no way to differentiate what belongs to whom. This can lead to cross-contamination between the children if one of them is sick, as well as size confusion. Here are some ideas for the new mom of multiples to help keep items separated by child.

Engraved Key Tags

Key tags are great for marking individual diaper bags, storage bins of clothing and other child-specific gear. These can be especially useful if the kids are not all of the same gender or have an appreciable size difference.

Monogrammed Baby Books

When more than one child results from the same pregnancy, the temptation to create a single baby book can be overwhelming. However, the children deserve to have their own individual books to keep as adults. Sites such as GirlyTwirly.com have three-ring options, and hobby and baby stores also offer plenty of options for creating one-of-a-kind baby books.

Non-Toxic Permanent Markers

The new mom will want to label her thermometers, pacifiers, and medications with the baby’s initials to avoid confusion. This can save her a lot of frustration with passing on of colds and viruses. Having a few markers around is essential.

Moms of multiples face unique challenges. While every new mom needs piles of burp cloths, diapers and onesies, these particular items will help her keep things separated by which baby they belong to. This will cut down on frustration and cross-contamination between the children.

Online Shopping Again

Online shopping has become a habit for me. If you are a work at home mom and a blogging mom, you will probably realize that online shopping is the easiest way to shop for your needs. You don’t have to take a bath, prepare yourself, spend a lot of money to go to the mall and buy the things you really need. All you have to do is turn on your PC or laptop, visit online shops and websites and look for all the things you need, you can look for grocery items that are on sale, you can buy medicines, you can even check out the latest fashion trends and buy your clothes and shoes online and perhaps search for graphtech for your kids or husband.

Check out what I got for myself:

I have bought a Hello Kitty Power Bank because I basically need it whenever I am out of the house and there is no available outlet for me to charge my iPhone. I also bought my iPhone a new case because the old one is so outdated already. I was surprised because the seller gave me a pack of Lola Abon’s durian yema as a freebie, she probably know that I loved it!

Online Shopping for an OOTD

I am a certified online shopper. I saw a friend posting her nice-looking arm candies on instagram and I am glad that she tagged the online shop where she bought it. I followed the online shop right away and ordered 2 sets of arm candies with watches because it was soooooo cheap compared to other online stores. Another friend told me that she liked my arm candies so I bought 3 sets from the same online shop and gave the other 2 to her as a birthday gift. Yes I am a constant client of this online shop because I love her arm candies so much, it is unique and it is not expensive. You can check out Knick_N_Knacks on Instagram and order a set for yourself.

But lately, the owner posted a photo of a pink origami skort paired with a lacey racer back top I immediately loved it and reserved it. And though I was not able to pay immediately for time constraint, I am glad that the owner didn’t gave it to another shopper.

But when the package arrived, I was surprised to see these lovely fashion bracelets together with my order. Oh my, thank you so much Ward_Robe for these beautiful freebies to match my OOTD.

I am Pro-Online Shopping

I cannot stress enough that I am Pro-Online Shopping. I may have posted a lot about online shopping in this blog and here I am again, making a blog post about it.

Almost all things are sold online, everything that you need are already sold online. From airline tickets to ferry boat tickets, from hotel accommodations to tour guides, from lingerie to everything that you wore, and from  toys for the kids to fun drinking games for two people. Almost everything that you need in your home can be bought online, without hassle, without spending money for bus fare or gasoline, and without spending too much energy on getting your butt to the mall, look around shops and determine or choose what to finally buy after two hours of walking around.

I am not a lazy person if you are thinking that I am. I am just using my mind on how to shop and spend my money wisely. Online shopping is a great thing, it can help the environment (you leave less carbon footprint because instead of driving your car 60 kilometers from your home to the mall that is), aside from that it can save you money (you only have to pay for the shipping fee and sometimes its free where as if you drive around you will have to pay for a gasoline and you need to spend for your lunch or snacks when it is time to eat and you are still walking around the mall).
