For this month of June, I would love to share to my dear readers about my hometown, Pangantucan Bukidnon.
When I was in College and even until now, many friends of mine would ask me where I live. After telling my friends the name of my hometown, they would suddenly ask me where in the world it is located. It makes me sad when people don’t know where on earth, Pangantucan is located, sometimes I just told them to GOOGLE it. It hurts me when people don’t know if my hometown really exists or is it just a product of my imagination. But sometimes I do understand them because my place is not famous and it is not one of the key cities/towns in Bukidnon.
But now, I am glad that my home town is rising and it is developing to become one of the best towns in Bukidnon. Many businessmen are investing a lot here and they have built metal buildings for their businesses. Currently, there are three BIG buildings being built. Having many businesses here means more jobs for my townspeople. The buildings created were for grocery stores, hardware, lodging house, function halls and even wet markets.
I will be visiting different landmarks and structures in my home town so expect more articles from me.
